When I bought this product for my male Shepherd several years ago. I was stunned at the control and comfort with which I could handle my 115+ lb male. I was stopped throughout the Expo with questions about my dog and where I purchased the equipment he was wearing. I remember personally walking many people over to the booth so they, too, could watch the demo's and pour over the product displays. Very few walked away empty handed. My fellow breeders saw the ensemble and they, too, went to purchase several pieces (martingale collar and leash) after seeing how it worked. The sturdy collar design is durable while still safeguarding "'collar wear with the quick release metal clip. The lead has come in handy in a variety of fashions and uses. There is no other collar or lead that can compare to the versatility or quality of these pieces. For me, it truly is the one and only, ultimate wear for all my dogs.
